What Process can RPA Automate?
Many Organization and financial institutions are finding a better way to deploy workforce and hike their production output. RPA acts as solution for the companies that are finding a way to boost their business.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is software tool with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning abilities to handle repeatable, high-volume tasks, which previously enforced humans to perform.
Implementing RPA in your company benefits a lot; it gives Cost Savings, Quality, Accurate Work, Insights and Analytics, Employee Empowerment, Simplicity and Flexibility, Better Control, and Enhanced Cycle Time. But in RPA, there is a step of Process Discovery which consumes lot of time and money, and many companies abort their RPA implementation from this step.
In Feat Systems we believe, the world we live in is changing at a rapid pace. And this revolution, in turn is building a huge demand for better technology solutions.
We are introducing a new tool in place of Process Discovery step i.e. Process Assessment Tool. Process Assessment tool works as a tool that analyzes your business process ‘whether to automate or Not?’
Which Process can be automated in Robotic Process Automation are:
- Highly manual and repetitive processes
Highly transactions that have great volumes and are prone to run daily can be automated, as there is a high chance of getting error or any undefined mistakes (if done by human) by Full-Time Employee (FTE).
- Processes with standard readable electronic Input Type
The processes that are started by standard and consistent inputs, and it should be in a readable input type like Excel, email, XML, Word, PPT, and readable PDFs etc. there are also started by input types which are not readable (scanned images with no OCR are not prone to automation.)
- Changeable Processing Method or System Change
The processing method can’t be changed, and Fundamental changes also do not require the basic technical architecture of the current systems. We strongly recommend avoid automating a process that will be changed in the short term, as there can be changes in the terms and conditions which will may create error if there is repetitive changes.
- Rule-Based Processes
Processes that are simple and have standard as per companies format (rule and regulation) and can be done in few simple steps.
- High Volumes
Processes with high transaction on daily basis or the process which has long processing volume (And high frequency).
- Automation Savings
Automate the process that gives the return of investment (ROI), if it is used in place of human (FTE), the process which have high number of Full-Time Employee (FTE) can even be done without (FTE).
- Low Exception rate
Processes with low number of alternating scenario exist in the process leading to different handling procedures.
- Mature and stable processes
The business processes which are well-documented, stable, predictable, and have operational cost.
